This amazing window wonder was created for l.a.Eyeworks by Sosthen Hennekam, designer of Ennio's magnificent menagerie of quick-change paper costumes (not to mention he's the show's director, lighting/sound designer, and beyond!).

Ennio also belongs to the rarefied club of special sparklers who have appeared twice in the l.a.Eyeworks portrait ad campaign. Here's the original shot:

On Thursday, August 25, The Academy of Motion Picture Arts & Sciences will host a special screening to honor the 20th anniversary of "Thelma & Louise," the box office stunner that redefined the buddy movie (and every other outlaw genre) forever. Nominated for six Oscars--including Best Actress nominations for Susan Sarandon and Geena Davis, and a Best Director nod for Ridley Scott--the film took home the award for Best Screenplay by Callie Khouri.

In the lesser known category Best Supporting Accessory on a Best Actress Nominee, l.a.Eyeworks took home the golden statue for Cornu, the sassy-shaped sunglass that Susan Sarandon wore as the gutsy, quick-witted Louise Sawyer.
