They Bent Thataway

What a beautiful 'escape' it was!  Obie award-winning composer Robert Een made a splash at the REDCAT theater at Disney Concert Hall with his opera, The Escape Artist.  l.a.Eyeworks made a special appearance at the performance by framing each musician with Bent in creamora latte, giving a stylish contrast to the moody staging.  We last checked in with Een just a couple of weeks before the show.  For more information on Robert Een and his extraordinary compositions, make sure to check out his website.

In the Key of "Phenomenal"

Obie award-winning composer Robert Een wearing Gibbons (his current favorite from the l.a.Eyeworks collection), en route from Japan to Los Angeles’ REDCAT theater at Disney Concert Hall.  As part of the renowned World Festival of Sacred Music, the concert version of Een's opera The Escape Artist will premiere September 24th at 8:30pm, with the composer himself conducting the impeccable International Mystical All-Star Band.  A rare, one-time-only treat.
