l.a.Eyeworks landed in Paris for the premiere French optical trade fair, SILMO 2008. Debuting a stunning new collection of lush acetates and sculpted titanium frames, the l.a.Eyeworks crew had an unpredictable and adventurous week in the city of light (including an amazing excursion to see the Jeff Koons exhibition in the Palais de Versailles). At this year's Vision Expo West in Las Vegas, l.a.Eyeworks had plenty to offer! The introduction of the latest collection, featuring lush plastic and titillating titanuim silhouettes proved to be an incredible hit, as frame fantatics flocked to l.a.Eyeworks' hotel suite for a peek! At this year's MIDO trade fair in Milan, l.a.Eyeworks received plenty of love from the press! The highlights can be seen in the 'l.a.Eyeworks Gets Exposed' photo album, along with an archive of recent news. The image above comes from the Italian optical journal Glasses & Fashion. Editors there asked what frame could possibly suit the legendary style icon Anna Piaggi. The answer? l.a.Eyeworks, naturalmente! (The frame, Magda Man, is a vintage l.a.Eyeworks couture creation).
At the MIDO trade fair in Milan, everyone was anxious to have a peek at the new designs from l.a.Eyeworks, including editors from optical trade magazines and beyond. Two of our favorite fellas from the fashion press stopped by to say hello. Having a happy moment in Milan are Alessandro Cremona, US National Director of VOGUE, with Gai Gherardi, co-designer of l.a.Eyeworks. The l.a.Eyeworks crew has just returned from Vision Expo East in New York, and there is plenty to share! This year's Vision Expo East in NY has been going quite swimmingly! Nothing but good news has been coming back from the east side.
