Not content with writing smash-hit songs, tending to her superb wardrobe of sassy socks and gorgeous glasses, and being one of the legendary party hosts of Los Angeles (the New York Times concurs!), Allee has turned her troves of terrifically tacky tidbits (Elvis Pez dispensers! Kleenex cozies! The E-Z Dog Dryer!) into a visionary portal where the vintage lunch boxes are inspirational and the online admission is always free.

Le Blog est arrivé!

Our good friends at Les Plus Belles Lunettes du Monde in Paris have just fired up their on-line blog, and of course, the first story they launched into the blogosphere was about l.a.Eyeworks. 

During our recent trip to Paris for the SILMO optical trade fair, Les Plus Belles welcomed the installation

of l.a.Eyeworks’ famous “NERDVANA” window slogan, complete with a storefront display of vintage l.a.Eyeworks frames,  culminating in a press event at their beautiful store.  Make sure to check out their website where you can watch l.a.Eyeworks frames take a 3-D spin.  It’s chic to peek!

Connectivity

If 47% of online users have looked themselves up through an online search engine, then l.a.Eyeworks is no exception.  Aside from the usual fare, we found ourselves a couple of new friends!  Its always great to see other bloggers posting tidbits about us on their sites.  What is even more interesting is that each blogger has their own flavor!  Above, you can see a photo of our very chic Mr. Honey frame in black.  The photo comes from a little place called AllNewYear.com!  The site is loaded with hilarious images of our frames (all worn by the same guy), so this shot is only a small sample of what's to see!

The bottom photo is taken from paintmonster.com which also features stories, and photos of the blogger's travels in the surrounding LA area.  The frame pictured in the photo is Pork Pie.  Coincidentally, both original posts are in celebration of last year's legendary annual Big Sale at our Melrose store where the bloggers stopped by to pick up some awesome frames!
